The Classic Speed Shop offers a complete range of services including engine rebuilds, race car preparation, track support, tuning, performance vehicle servicing, modifications and bespoke performance parts.

Engine Rebuilds

20 years of engine building experience allows the Classic Speed Shop to build engines that are powerful, reliable, and when necessary competitive! We can build whatever type of engine you require, from ‘factory’ stock to full-on competition, or anywhere in between. If you know what you want, great, we’ll build it for you. If you just have an idea of what you want to do but aren’t quite sure what engine components and modifications best suit your needs, we will be happy to help you design an engine that will work for you keeping cost effectiveness in mind! Often times, we can make recommendations based on your driving style and environment. Parts and machine work costs vary from unit to unit depending on customer’s specifications, machine shop charges, and costs of parts required for a proper rebuild. Roll Cage Install/Addition

In any form of motorsport where safety is paramount, the single most important aspect of that car’s occupant protection is a properly engineered roll cage. The Classic Speed Shop can engineer you a CAMS and FIA compliant roll cage as necessary (or ROPS – Roll Over Protection Structure).

Suspension and Steering

The Classic Speed Shop specializes in the design, setup, service, repair, fitment and sale of suspension parts. Our aim is to satisfy our customers with expert advice and assistance whether it be road, race or special application. Corner Weight

Fabrication

The Classic Speed Shop designs and fabricates a diverse range of components for motorsport use. Fabrication of seat rails and mounts, foot rests, trip computer mounts, hydraulic handbrake mounts and fit outs, strut braces, radiator overflow reservoirs, oil catch cans, intercooler piping and more. Want to make some wholesale changes but don’t quite know where to start? Don’t go around in circles, The Classic Speed Shop can help! With straightforward, no-nonsense advice and service we’ll get you on the right track.

Bespoke Performance Parts

Race Preparation

With our workshop tooled up specifically for our trade, we can have your car prepared on time, everytime, ready for collection or delivery and prepared to exit pit lane.

Weber Sidedraught Specialist

It would be uncommon for us to not have a set of Weber Sidedraught Carburettors in for either rebuild/service or tune at any one time. Either on car, or on the bench, we can help you to get your Weber Sidedraught Carburettor ‘choked’, ‘venturi’d’ and ‘jetted’ to suit YOUR application and driving requirements. Bosch K-Jet Specialist

Stumbling around trying to find someone with any interest in repairing/tuning your Bosch K-Jet Injection? We have the equipment to test and diagnose and also the knowledge/patience and network to repair/recondition or replace any aspect of your system. Whether it be a straightforward repair or correctly re-mapping the system to suit your race engine. From fuel pump supply pressure to injector pattern it is possible.
